NEWS & INFORMATIONPress Contact: Oregon Law Firm Builds Bridges to Future Trial LawyersFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE(Eugene, Oregon) -- Johnson, Clifton, Larson & Schaller, P.C. has, over the last several months, sponsored a series of events and projects aimed at guiding new and would-be trial lawyers in preparation for their future practice. As part of this effort, on Friday November 9, 2007, Arthur and Derek Johnson delivered a two-hour presentation to University of Oregon Law School tort-class students enrolled in classes taught by Professor Dominick Vetri, himself a specialist in torts, product liability, rights of privacy, etc. The presentation included stories and real-world lessons concerning discovery, evidence, ongoing investigation and strategy-building from trials successfully handled by the firm. "We want to build bridges to future trial lawyers and share with them insights into the practice of law. This should help them put their legal education into context," says Derek Johnson. " We have two Senior Associates here at the firm who are University of Oregon Law School graduates. That, too gives us access to some of the best of our future colleagues."
