Jennifer Middleton merged her practice with the firm in 2011, bringing sixteen years of experience representing individuals in employment matters including wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, disability rights, and medical leave claims. Ms. Middleton graduated from Harvard Law School magna cum laude in 1995, where she was Editor in Chief of the Harvard Women's Law Journal. She earned her Bachelor's degree at Yale University, summa cum laude. After law school, Ms. Middleton was a staff attorney at the Employment Law Center in San Francisco before spending several years at the ACLU headquarters in New York, prosecuting civil rights claims all over the country in state, federal, and appellate courts nationwide. She moved to Oregon in 2006.
Jennifer Middleton is admitted to the bars of Oregon, California, and New York, including federal district courts in all three states, the Second and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court. She is an appointed lawyer representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference and serves on the District of Oregon's Local Rules Committee and the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar's Constitutional Law section. She also serves as an active member of the Board of Directors of the ACLU of Oregon.
